62 Oral history interviews with faculty and staff of UCSF and San Francisco General Hospital. Main subjects include development of the Surgery Department, the Laboratory of Experimental Oncology, bioengineering, the invention of Magnetic Resonance Imaging, medical school diversity, the AIDS epidemic in San Francisco, the history of UCSF and the health sciences. Most of the collection is published material, but there are some unpublished manuscripts and AV materials.
